Went for New Year break. Good value for money. Nice clean caravan. Good facilities on site. Had few problems regarding tv and toaster reception sorted it straight away. Very happy.
Very spacious site, with some great views. The clubhouse is fairly standard, with a bar and restaurant, and amusements. The food quality is pretty basic and tailored for children. They also have shows on the evening. This based on a visit in 2016.
We had a fantastic Halloween weekend. The kids really enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the entertainer on the Friday night, they were mesmerized by his juggling chainsaws and swords . Chuffed to bits that we won the fancy dress competition too. Looking forward to coming back.
We stayed here for 4 nights in a static caravan with our dogs. The caravan was very run down, bathroom door wouldn't shut, sofas were very old. The caravan smelt of dogs and didn't smell like it had been cleaned. We had to wash up all cutlery before using it. We had to put a blanket on the sofa to be able to sit on it, the sofa smelt that bad. The bed was rock hard. The caravan was fully heated though so that was good. Pub food on site was very poor. Overall this site has a lot of potential and just needs some money spent on it. Staff are friendly but in the 4 nights we stayed there we didn't see any of them unless we went to the pub or reception. Lovely location but I couldn't stay here again. I was glad to go home
Excellent facilities, well maintained and presented. Pitches are well marked and large. The clubhouse provides meals and drinks at average 'village pub' prices. Meals are well cooked, presented and tasty. Service is good but we did go out of season so a little quieter. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return again.
