Nice park and lovely people running it however the pool area was disappointing and the showers there really need refurbishing and something really smelt horrible in the girls as well as the boys changing rooms. Great area to travel from so would be happy to go back but not have the pass for use of the pool. WiFi access was also problematic at times.
Not sure what all of the negative reviews are about. Yes its your average caravan, great entertainment for the kids. We liked it.
Went to Looe Bay on a midweek Sun holiday. Found the facilities on site to be very good the caravan was clean and tidy and comfortable for our needs. We used the restaurant on two nights and what we had was very good, the staff were friendly and would go out of their way to accommodate anyone who had any special food needs, in fact all the staff that dealt with us did so in a very friendly and professional manner. I don't understand the negative comments as I found this holiday park to be excellent and would recommend.
Unlike other parkdean holiday camps we have been on this place is a dump.The caravan itself was very basic with doors missing off cupboards, mold in shower and no nets or blinds on the windows so as soon as we open the curtains everyone could see in.If you want to visit any local places you will need your car, nothing is within walking distance and if you do decide to walk take good walking boots as everything is up hill and miles away.The clubhouse needs a good clean and decoration, windows were very dirty and seating coming away from the wall in the large entertainment room.
Great place for families. The swimming pool has a daily adults only hour. Restaurant food available for the lazy.Shop well stocked if you want self catering.Bring basics - but everything available if you need anything.Easy long walk to Looe (or bus).(Use local taxi for 3+).Evening entertainment is excellent.Kids clubs good. You will relax.
