Proper pub, full of proper people! not many pubs like this left unfortunately, drinks very reasonabley priced. Lovely open wood fire, and characters to keep you amused, really this is what pubs used to be like, visit soon before there's none left!
Fantastic small traditional pub. Bare stone and woodwork, open fire, and welcoming bar folk plus locals. A proper pub : the antithesis of everything 'Wetherspoons' and all that's generic.Non judgemental, pet (dog, cat, anything that follows you in) friendly, and genuinely nice folk. It's not about having a wide choice, it's all about having a good choice !
