Was really enjoyable there is a nice pond for fishing and a nice places to go for walk they have tennis courts and an indoors and outdoors swimming pool.The only issue was the entertainment in their disco room called squires.A couple of nights it was great they had a lady called miss pink who sang a medley of songs by the artist pink and a magician on another night.However all the other nights they had a cabaret which seemed to go for hours then the last 15 minutes they would have a disco. Most of the people including us wanted the disco earlier and as a result of it being so late the place would clear out when the cabaret acts came on.
The entertainment is extremely good quality, the Stripeys are polite, helpful and fun. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The caravan was excellent quality, there were three cracked glasses but besides that it was very good. My little step sister enjoyed the pool and park area and overall it was enjoyable :)
Great holiday place very very clean place accommodations were spotless the manner house had loads of facilities snooker table pool table table tennis mini golf, the arcade is a bit small but I didn't mind this because the kids didn't spend to much time in there and enjoyed the entertainment more in the club house. I will definitely go back here again great family holiday. Only down side to this place is the fishing lake, its as a lot of weeds there, they got about 8 pegs there but you can only fish from about 3 of them but there are plenty of fish there some nice big carp but the lake needs a good clean. But the rest of the park is A1.
Could have done better.- Accommodation shabby, that we were given with our pet. - no dog hitching points anywhere near the shop, - No foot paths next to the site roads.- The 5mph speed limit was not enforced. Only one 5mph sign at the entrance. Should read "dead slow, live children ".- not much adult entertainment apart from bingo.On the plus side, staff were pleasent.
Pet owners caravan was shabby and tired. Mattresses were awful and sofa almost impossible to sit on. The sofa bed mechanism was broken. There was damage to the walls and not all the windows were secure. The fridge barely kept food chilled and door surround damaged. The cooker had the enamel peeling off around the oven door and hob. Upon arrival the carpet was covered in dust and hair. The vacuum barely picked anything up. They charge extra for pets but don't seem to use this to keep caravans tidy. Saying that the outside pool was lovely and staff were nice. The kids entertainment was first rate and drink prices were reasonable. The food was hit and miss. The shop closed most of the day. The park was tidy and well maintained. Getting out and about was easy. Lots of buses if you have no car. Looe town is gorgeous and plenty beaches locally. As a pet owner I would not return or recommend to other pet owners. They have a nerve charging extra so much for pets and putting you in such a shabby caravan. It's a shame because they could do better. One more criticism was the lack of visible security. Rowdy behaviour was never challenged and we were aware that people who weren't staying there came in and used the facilities that we paid for. We will never go back and think that renting a holiday apartment would be a lot better.
