Great assortment of delicious cakes, pasties and bread at Looe Bakery. Also recommend the sandwiches full and tasty. Lovely little cafe in the shop too. Friendly helpful staff in Looe Bakery. Would definitely recommend.
If I could get away with minus 5 stars I would apply them, we had to stop and load my very obviously disabled mother in law into my car and the only space was the reserved area outside the shop, as the loading area was occupied by a large lorry, we were almost immediately accosted by an aggressive young lady saying her boss was coming to use the bay. We had already started the process and my mother in law was out of her wheel chair and we were putting the chair in the car. The lady literally said we had to move now, we said we would only be a few more minutes but she was adamant we should move, this was done in a very unfriendly way showing no concern or empathy for disability. One of our party stated we will be writing a review on TripAdvisor and the lady stated "Good luck with that we are not on TripAdvisor" and this was her last comment as she was walking back to the shop.We subsequently have had a conversation with the manager who explained that they have a lot of trouble with people parking there and we fed back how differently the whole exchange could have been if the lady had explained that and accepted our statement that we would be moving as soon as we had my mother in law loaded. The manager apologised. This kind of experience has really put a dampener on a lovely day in Looe where the rest of staff in all the shops, cafes and boats have been great.
Called in for lunch and the paninis where excellent cannot complaint the service was excellent too.
Brought a range of cakes on Sunday. They packaged them up but forgot to put some in the box. By the time we noticed at home they were shut. Went back the next day to be greeted by a rude and unhelpful girl who didnt offer to provide us with the missing cakes but just stated repeatedly it wasnt her the day before. Customer service completely lacking.
Nice food for a reasonable price and one of the only places that allow dogs in! Not many tables however so may get busy easily.
